Value for Money: The pricing strategy, portion sizes, and the value offered in relation to the price.

Compatibility with existing infrastructure: The degree to which the operational requirements of the business align with the capabilities of location such as physical size of the business and space available.

Other criteria that may be considered include experience of the business and number of branches.

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential to meet the following mandatory criteria:

Mandatory Criteria

Branch Requirement: Applicants must have at least one branch fully operational to demonstrate an established presence and experience in managing multiple locations. This criterion is crucial for ensuring the capability to handle the demands of the University of Bahrain community.

Minimum Years of Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in the same brand being applied at UOB.

Strong Brand Name: Applicants must possess a strong brand name that is recognized and trusted in the food industry. This requirement emphasizes the importance of brand reputation and customer loyalty.

All other application will be disqualified.

Evaluation Criteria
Candidates who meet the above mandatory criteria, will be then evaluated based on the following:

Menu and Cuisine: The variety and diversity of menu options will be assessed specific to the shop requirements set by UOB, along with the relevance of the offered cuisine to the University of Bahrain community.

Value for Money: Portion sizes, quality and the value offered in relation to the price will be assessed. This could be evaluated through food tasting by the selection committee.

Compatibility with existing infrastructure: The degree to which the operational requirements of the business align with the capabilities of the current shop infrastructure, including exhaust fans, water drainage systems, and other relevant aspects.

Kindly note that the business will need to install new 5 tables and chairs.
